Ingredients:
7 tbsp ketchup, divided
1 c quick-cooking oats
½ c finely chopped onion
2 tbsp dried parsley
1 tbsp dried basil
¾ tsp salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 lb ground sirloin
1 lb ground turkey
2 large eggs, lightly beaten (Egg beaters)
2 large egg whites, lightly beaten
2 garlic cloves minced
Cooking spray
•1. Preheat oven to 375°
•2. Combine 3 tbsp ketchup, oats, and next 10 ingredients in a large bowl, stir mixture until well-blended.
•3. Shape meat mixture into a 9×5 inch loaf on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray; spoon 4 tablespoons ketchup over meat loaf.
•4. Bake at 375° for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a meat thermometer registers 160°. Let stand ten minutes.
•5. Yields 8 two-slice servings.
